Ryan Fitzpatrick
- President
My name is Ryan Fitzpatrick, and I am the President of the Texas Tech Alumni Association - Houston Chapter. I previously held the title of Vice-President and Scholarship Committee Co-Lead. I graduated from Texas Tech in May 2006 with a B.B.A. in Energy Commerce. While at Tech I was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity, an Ambassador for the Rawls College of Buiness and President of the Student Landman Association. In my professional life I am a Land Negotiator for Occidental Petroleum working various areas within the Rockies. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, fishing, attending sporting events and spending time with friends and family. We have an exciting year ahead of us and I hope to see you all at upcoming Texas Tech events very soon.
Will Hacker - Vice President
Hi I'm Will Hacker, and I am the Vice President of the Texas Tech Alumni Association - Houston Chapter. I joined the board in an effort to support the growth of the chapter and I coordinated our game watching parties in 2010. I graduated from Texas Tech in the Summer of 1997 with a B.A. in Mathematics and a Minor in Spanish. I was able to achieve my M.B.A. two years ago while working full time. While at Tech I was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and managed a local restaurant while attending classes. In my professional life I am the Director of Food, Nutrition and Event Services for the Methodist Hospital Medical Center, Sugar Land and West Houston. I enjoy spending time with my wife Kala and son Drew as well as playing sports, skiing, and volunteering for local non-profit organizations. Go Tech!
Amy Havemann - Secretary
Amy Havemann is serving her first year on the Board as the Secretary. She graduated from Texas Tech in May 2007 with a B.B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. While at Tech, Amy was a member of TMA (Tech Marketing Association), TAF (Tech Ad Federation), and the National Student Advertising Competition team, completing a simulated campaign for a national client and competing regionally against other colleges. Professionally, she works for a marketing firm helping clients with their campaign and day-to-day marketing needs. Amy is also a Rodeo Committee member and in her spare time enjoys the time she gets to spend with friends and family, cheering on the Astros, sunny weather and all things Tech. Wreck 'em!
Leslie Fletcher - Treasurer
My name is Leslie Fletcher and I currently serve as the Treasurer for the Texas Tech Alumni Association Houston Chapter. Prior to serving as the Treasurer, I was the Membership chairman. I graduated from Texas Tech in May 2007 with a B.B.A. in Accounting and Management. Since graduation, I have worked in banking and am currently a Private Banker for Comerica Bank. During college I was involved in Pi Beta Phi sorority, Rawls College of Business Ambassadors, the Business Administration Leadership Council, Order of Omega, Rho Lambda, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Accounting Leadership Council, and Raider Recruiters. In my spare time, I am involved in Junior League of Houston, Pi Beta Phi Alum Club, enjoy running, cooking, college football, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Andrew Meyers
- Former President
My name is Andrew Meyers, and I served as the 2010 President of the Houston Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. From 2008 to 2009 I served as co-chairman of the golf tournament and fundraising committee. I graduated from Texas Tech in May of 2005 with a B.B.A in Finance. While at Tech, I was an active member of Phi Delta Theta. In August of this year I will begin pursuing my M.B.A. from Duke University. In my professional life, I am an analyst with a management consultancy called Decision Strategies that provides strategic analysis to companies in the energy sector. In my spare time I enjoy live music, playing golf, sporting events, and quality time with friends and family. It is exciting to see the Houston chapter begin to get traction locally, and look forward to the future contributions of the new members.
