Networking Lunch this Wednesday

John B. Walker will be our guest speaker for the Texas Tech Alumni Association – Houston Chapter, First Quarter Networking Luncheon. Mr. John Walker has held many distinguished roles including: President and Chief Executive Officer of EnerVest, Ltd., Executive Chairman of EV Energy Partners, L.P., and former Chairman of both the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Ronald McDonald House Run

Congratulations to the Ronald McDonald House for raising over $200,000 from this weekend’s Home Run. We were very happy to volunteer at the event, handing out drinks and snacks to all of the participants. Thank you to everyone involved with this event, and we hope to help again next year!

Third Thursday Happy Hour: Tech Can Food Drive

Tech Can Food Drive
This is just a reminder that this Thursday we’ll be having our happy hour at Liberty Station on Washington. Anyone who brings in 3 canned goods gets 10% off their tab. This is part of our Tech Can Food Drive to help feed those who need it. Come out to Liberty Station, have a drink, make some friends, and show that TECH CAN give back to the Houston community!

Texas Tech vs Texas A&M

What a season! Let’s keep the momentum going this weekend when we play Texas A&M for the last time as a Big 12 rival. Come to Hefley’s Bar in midtown and show your support for the Red Raiders. There will be a silent auction for autographed memorabilia during the game, and all of the money raised will go to our scholarship fund. Wreck em, Tech!!
